What you will enjoy doing

  • In this role, you will be responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction
  • Weld layout and fit-up carbon steel and / or alloy steel based on construction drawings is part of your role, as well as to monitor and control welding consumables
  • Workmanship must meet company standards for quality including radiographic repair rate and visual inspection rate
  • You will be in charge for the productivity level consistently equal the company’s established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions
  • Also, you must sustain 5’s Lean Manufactory in assigned work cell and to follow LENA safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual
  • Further, you will participate in Value Stream improvements and Kaizen events
  • Instruct and direct work of others, as required

  • This position is a safety sensitive position, you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others, including but not limited to (forklifts, cranes, tractor trailers, operating machinery, etc.)
  • You must successful complete an internal welding test and have four-year applicable welding experience
  • In addition, you will perform welding assignments with minimal supervision, moreover you must pass Pipe weld test and must be able to verify proper use of all WPS welding procedure
  • Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials is required for this role, as well as working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) is required for this role
  • Moreover, you must be proficient in assigned welding techniques and have knowledge of welding equipment
