What’s on offer
- A full-time career, earning $56.20 p/h ($127,859 per year) + super paid on all hours worked + retention bonus ($3k 1st year, $6k 2nd year, $9k 3rd year**)
- Additional $2.50 per hour as a Crew Trainer
- Even time roster: 7/7 (12.5-hour shifts), with OT offered on day shift.

- Join our dynamic team at Carmichael Mine as we ramp up production. We are seeking skilled Haul Truck Operators to contribute to our exciting growth phase.
Mackellar are the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. Production is in full swing at the mine site located in the Galilee Basin and we’re excited to be building our team. Bring your operating skills and training experience to become a part of something exciting as we ramp up production at Carmichael Mine. Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs and we are also offering flights from Cairns. We also encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Join our team and bring your skills to the table! Ideally, you will have:
- Experience: Electric haul truck experience as well as experience training new operators in Haul truck operation.
- Safety Focus: A strong commitment to safety with a current Standard 11 (desirable, not essential) and a valid driver’s license. A range of evidence can be accepted for the right candidate.
