Job Description
Schurman Concrete, a division of OSCO Construction Group, is currently seeking a qualified individual for its Ready-Mix operations in Summerside, PE. The position available is a full time Concrete Pump Operator, starting immediately.The OSCO Construction Group is a collection of companies operating in steel, concrete and construction. We have been in business since 1955 and serve a variety of markets throughout Atlantic and Western Canada, the Eastern US, and the Caribbean.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pump unit;
- Safe operation of boom;
- Operate a ready-mix truck when required;
- Safe delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites;
- General cleaning and maintenance of truck and pump;
- Other duties as required.
Education Requirements
- Driver’s license (Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement);
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience;
- Previous experience operating boom truck and/or hydraulic equipment considered an asset;
- Excellent customer relations;
- Excellent hand/eye coordination;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Pay:
- $26-28/hour
