As a Registered Nurse at Lavarack, you’ll work with a dedicated team providing high-quality acute care to Defense member.

• A dynamic, rotating roster including AM, PM, and night shifts (30 hours per week).

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• A commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethical care.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.
• At least 12 months of recent post-graduate experience in acute care, primary health care, or a military setting (or equivalent part-time experience).
• Ongoing participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to stay at the forefront of nursing best practices.
• A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification to ensure you’re ready for any situation.
• Additional Benefits and Requirements:
• Australian Citizenship is essential to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance.

You’ll work as a civilian on-base—no enlistment required—and your role remains on-site even when Defense members are deployed.
