About the role

Maintenance requests
- Liaising with contractors and assisting residents with minor maintenance repairs
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors
- Assist in wheelchair transport, mail deliveries and other driving duties

About You:
We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:
- A relevant trade qualification or demonstrated handyman experience
- Current Light Rigid NSW Drivers License or willingness to obtain
- Physical Fit for loading and unloading wheelchairs on the bus
- Knowledge of correct manual handling procedures
- A sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector
- General computer skills
- Australian Working Rights

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL Life Care.
