Responsibilities

  • Safely operate self-propelled spreader which includes GPS technology & computerized application monitors
  • Perform vehicle inspections; clean and perform maintenance to equipment including basic troubleshooting
  • Properly implement all necessary training, as it applies to task and equipment
  • Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Work in production line using designated equipment as directed
  • Perform routine clean up and maintenance of the site.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority
  • Previous experience operating farm equipment or heavy equipment
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 would be considered an asset)
  • Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work independently
  • High degree of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Mechanical aptitude and previous experience working in manufacturing or farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset
  • Able to speak and understand the English language proficiently.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. (25 kgs)
  • Must be able and comfortable working at heights
