• Responsible for the operational excellence of the assigned manufacturing process area thru efficient design, implementation and sustenance of the process/systems. Ensures continuous improvement is in placed focusing on the quality, cost and delivery.

• Ensures that process standards, procedures and specifications are in place.

• Lead the delivery of the objectives, KPIs and other initiatives.
• Design and develop experiment, review data and develop conclusions.
• Implement industry standard process control techniques to manage and develop production efficiencies and quality.
• Organizes, implements, and maintains production process flow.
• Analyzes top defects and provide corrective actions.
• Responds to and closes raised Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP).
• Conduct initial Time and Motion Study (TMS) on all operational activities and provide standard work.
• Investigates operational problems affecting production and recommends solutions.
• Works with other departments to determine estimated cost, run time, cost reduction, and closes the feedback loop.
• Sets up and completes process for to ensure readiness of Process Qualification.
• Monitors individual project tasks completion as lead pilot of handsets through the entire process –adheres to continuous improvement strategies and recommend improvements.
• Leads and trains co-Engineers and Technicians to drive yield and process improvement, including efficient repair and troubleshooting techniques.
• Works with other Engineering teams to create ISO documents with defined criteria and processes.
• Develops new packaging and improvement on the present packaging concepts to prevent from damaging our Work in Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods due to mishandling.
• Performs evaluation, reliability testing and qualification of new packaging design.
• Works with Packaging Material Suppliers for the specification and requirements.
• Coordinates with Industrial Engineering Team regarding the new product set-up, requirements, and material flow.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
• Works with operation to ensure that the packaging designs are optimized for manufacturability.
• Works closely with IE team for material flow.
• Performs other related tasks as may be required.
