They are currently seeking a skilled accountant to join their team in Muskat, Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Responsibilities of Accountant:
- Managing all accounting transactions
- Preparing budget forecasts
- Publishing financial statements in time
- Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Ensuring timely bank payments
- Computing taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reporting on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Auditing financial transactions and documents
- Complying with financial policies and regulations
Requirements for Accountant:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
- Relevant certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
