King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) is a renowned institution of higher learning. In 1963, KFUPM was established as the College of Petroleum & Minerals. More than 10,000 students participate in KFUPM’s 83 programs, which are available across its 8 Academic Colleges. History

On September 23, 1963, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) were formally established by royal decree. A year later, on September 23, 1964, 67 young men entered what was then known as the College of Petroleum and Minerals (CPM), becoming the first students to be admitted. Since then, registration at the university has increased to a point that it’s expected to reach 10,000 by the 2020 academic year.

The deanship is in charge of all the divisions that deal with faculty and staff personnel. For each academic year, they organize and manage the local and foreign recruitment of faculty, professionals, and support staff. On its website, the deanship provides comprehensive services and information.

Female Education

If a female student meets the requirements and receives admission to the university’s graduate systems, she is eligible for postgraduate study in the fields of mathematics, computer science, and business administration.
