Responsibilities
Perform vehicle inspections; clean and perform mandatory maintenance to equipment including basic troubleshooting.
Hauling fertilizer and crop inputs to local farms and between Agri Branch locations.
Ensure completion of paperwork.
Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner.
Transfer dry bulk products from trailers into bulk spreading vehicles.
Work safely to avoid harm to yourself, customer’s property, co-workers, equipment, or inventory.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority.
Valid driver’s license of Class 3A or higher (Class 1) and clean driver abstract .
Experience operating manual transmission.
Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
High degree of attention to detail.
Previous experience applying fertilizer, crop protectants, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural environment would be an asset.
Able to work well independently and follow safety, quality control, and operating procedures at all times.
Attention to detail is essential.
Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
Able to speak, read, and write the English language proficiently.
