About the Role
The Driver role at Platinum Laundry is vital to the company’s daily operations. As a Laundry Pickup and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering laundry items to customers, ensuring a high level of service and care.
You’ll handle customer interactions professionally, maintain delivery schedules, and ensure that all items are safely transported without damage or delay. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to punctuality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Drive company vehicle to pick up and deliver laundry items to customers.
Handle laundry packages carefully to prevent damage or loss.
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries.
Follow designated routes and schedules as assigned by the supervisor.
Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or maintenance needs immediately.
Communicate politely and professionally with customers during collection and delivery.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Assist in organizing delivery routes to improve efficiency.
Support the team with additional duties when required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Valid Qatar driving license (light vehicle).
Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in Qatar preferred.
Familiarity with Doha roads and major areas.
Basic English communication skills to interact with customers.
Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of laundry bags.
Punctual, reliable, and responsible attitude.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the company vehicle.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Respectful and courteous behavior with clients and colleagues.
