The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Rockingham.

  • Monday to Friday excluding public holidays
  • Well established maintenance facility and team
  • Ongoing development opportunities for career growth
  • ‘Refer a Friend’ program – both parties will earn $500 each

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out truck and trailer scheduled servicing, maintenance and inspections
  • Maintain fleet paper trail on servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Carry out repairs/parts change outs as directed
  • Attend fleet roadside breakdowns
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators
  • Order parts using order numbers and listed suppliers
  • Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids
  • Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services

Qualifications

  • Auto Electrician Trade Certification
  • EBS, MT Data & Guardian DSSI experience advantageous but not necessary
  • Volvo prime mover experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Experience working with Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment
  • Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment
  • Fleet of trucks, trailers, front end loaders, and other ancillary equipment.
