Kaur Migrations is seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join their team as a cafe worker in New Zealand. The cafe worker will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve food and beverages
- Ensure the cafe is clean and tidy at all times
- Operate cash registers and handle payments
- prepare foods such as salads, sandwiches, baked goods and meat as per the menu or order.
- Ensure food is fresh and kept at a safe temperature.
- Prepare coffee and use a coffee machine.
- Clear tables, wash dishes and clean and stock food cabinets.
- Weigh, price and pack food.
- Take orders, serve customers and answer their questions.
- Make hot and cold drinks such as tea or juice.
- Manage the till and take payments.
Eligibility Criteria for Job:
- Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Barista experience is an advantage
