The Opportunity
Join us today as a Service Representative in Financial Lines! You will work closely with the Account Executive to ensure top of the line service. As well as partner with the Account Executive to manage and provide service to clients and actively interact with insurance companies. Sense of urgency, attention to detail and to be customer oriented is essential to comply with our service standards.
A day in the life
- Responsible for maintaining, organizing, documenting, and filing daily the physical and digital records of the client including policies, endorsements, insurance certificates, general correspondence among other documents.
- Accountable for keeping the Summary of Coverage updated with the changes that take place during the policy year.
- Support communications between Departments (Bonds, Construction, Benefits, Financial Lines, Personal Lines, Accounting and Claims) to channel customer requests.
- Request and follow up on the Insurance Certificates, Letters of Certification of Payment, Distribution of Premium requested by the insured once the Issuance Order is provided.
- Follow up and verify the requested endorsements and send them to the client.
- Prepare the Folders and / or Email for the delivery of the Policies together with the Summary of Coverages, Invoices (Dummies Invoices if applicable), Insurance Certificates, Payment Letters and / or any other documentation required by the Insured.
- Responsible for sending invoices to the client for the due process of billing and closing of the month, if applicable.
- Responsible for requesting the quotes of Premium Financing Contract to the Accounting Department and sending the document to the client.
- Follow up on the payment and keep track, preparing and maintaining a list of accounts to have a reference of when it was renewed, paid, delivered, reviewed, etc.
- Responsible for confirming evidence of payment made by check, ACH or credit card and requesting evidence of processed payment to send to customer.
- Prepare a draft email to the client with renewal information to update (i.e., Statement of Securities, Sales Information), draft Specifications and Proposal.
- Responsible for handling assigned renewals.

- Bachelor’s or associate degree
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Preferred experience with EPIC
