About the role

• You will thrive working at Parkside Village in Hillsborough, Auckland. Flourishing in our supportive team environment you will take pride in making your place of work ‘gleam’ with cleanliness.
• This is a part time Fixed Term role till the 27th of September to cover Parental leave.
• You will be working 12 hours a week on Mondays and Thursdays from 7am to 1.30 pm.

Duties Include:

• Cleaning areas and ensure day to day lists are in place and carried out.
• Infection control is carried out as per guidelines, instructions and standards.
• Liase and ensure residents personal laundry is taken care of and handled in the most appropriate way.
• Follow/improve the systems of stock control for cleaning products and linen stock.
• Ensuring our residents environment is kept the highest standard of cleanliness.

Experience

• You will be an exceptional cleaner, wanting to ensure everything is spotless and in its place.
• Cleaning experience Domestic and or commercial preferred but is not essential.
• Laundry experiences a bonus
• Safe handling of chemicals training a bonus -but we can provide training.
• Excellent English and communication skills & a positive attitude
