Responsibilities of Cleaner:
- In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
- Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms,
- Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and windowsills.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs.
- Mop and sweep floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Eligibility Criteria for Job:
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
- Registration number (if you are part of a regulated profession).
- Any supporting documents regarding education/qualifications for this position. Examples may include:
- Program certificates or diplomas.
- High school/college/university transcripts etc.
- It is also recommended to provide a cover letter and resume.
- Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
