CLEANER NEEDED IN CANADA AT NORTHERN HEALTH

Northern Health are currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated cleaner to fill a Casual position at the McBride and District Hospital. As a cleaner, selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. Duties may include cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, dusting and vacuuming, and emptying trash receptacles. Responsibilities of Cleaner:

  • In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
  • Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms,
  • Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchens, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and windowsills.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs.
  • Mop and sweep floors.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

Eligibility Criteria for Job:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Registration number (if you are part of a regulated profession).
  • Any supporting documents regarding education/qualifications for this position. Examples may include:
  • Program certificates or diplomas.
  • High school/college/university transcripts etc.
  • It is also recommended to provide a cover letter and resume.
  • Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
