About your new role:
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated residential team at York. You will have the opportunity to provide leadership to our team in relation to clinical activities. You’ll coordinate the effective assessment, planning, and delivery of care and services to our residents, ensuring the best outcomes for each resident. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and collaborate with our residential care team to deliver person-centered care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Act in an advisory and educational capacity in relation to all aspects of clinical care.
- Oversee correct protocols for infection control throughout the facility.
- Work in accordance with Baptistcare’s code of conduct.
- Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with work, health and safety policies and procedures.
Experience
In order to be successful for this role, you will be a Clinical Nurse or an experienced Registered Nurse with their AHPRA registration. You will have proven high levels of clinical competency and the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team. To be considered you will also need the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Commitment to providing a customer-centric approach.
- Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation, and planning skills
- Able to lead and influence others
- Sound understanding of care assessment and provision within the Aged and Health Care sectors
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
