- Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has a unique opportunity for an experienced Electrical Fire Technician to join our LNG team based at Wheatstone, WA. We can offer an immediate start for the right candidate on a full-time basis. This role will be 50% electrical and 50% fire working on camp maintenance. Responsibilities include testing, fault finding, servicing & programming on various fire systems and conduction general electrical works in a facilities maintenance environment.
ABOUT YOU
- Current WA “A” Grade Electrical License & CPR & LVR (within 12 months)
- Cert II or III in Fire Protection, Inspection and Testing or willing to obtain
- Drivers License & White Card
- High Risk Work License (EWP) (highly desirable)
- Experience in electrical camp maintenance and servicing different fire systems
- Ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
