The opportunity:

This is a Day Shift position with available overtime. You will be expected to relieve on a Rotating Shift Roster as required.

  • Day Work: Monday to Friday 7 AM to 3.30 PM.
  • 9 Day fortnight (Monday RDO) with an additional Friday RDO every eight weeks.
  • Provide shift relief on a Rotating Roster, working a 24/7 rotating roster across Day, Afternoon and Night Shift.
  • Penalty Rates will apply for Afternoon, Nights, Weekends, and any Public Holidays worked.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Perform preventative maintenance work as scheduled and required.
  • New and old machinery installation work.
  • Daily maintenance, fault finding and trouble shooting.
  • Maintenance of control systems and specialized instrumentation including PLC systems.
  • Respond to breakdowns and priorities accordingly in conjunction with your supervisor.
  • Enter and manage maintenance notifications in SAP.

What you will bring to the team:

  • You will hold a recognized QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic license and relevant Post Trade qualifications or applicable experience.
  • Significant experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing with a background in fault finding with Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Experience supporting specialized instrumentation and control systems.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority to minimize downtime.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a safety mindset.
  • Food and Beverage experience preferable.
