The opportunity:

Paradise Country is renowned for its genuine country hospitality and is seeking an experienced Tour Guide Stockperson to assist with farm activities and live show demonstrations, whilst upholding the friendly country atmosphere

Your day to day:

  • Delivering farm tour shows to large group
  • Providing first-class guest services to both domestic and international visitors
  • Feeding and cleaning domestic animals
  • Presenting the animals in display condition at all times
  • Keeping equipment and areas maintained to workplace health and safety standards

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in the care of domestic animals and a general knowledge of animal husbandry and farming
  • Experience or ability to work in a public-speaking role
  • Excellent physical fitness
  • Competent horse riding skills
  • A strong understanding of different cultures and social backgrounds
  • A willingness and ability to multi-skill and cross-train in all aspects of the park
  • An ability to provide first-class guest services
  • Be conscientious, reliable and a team player and able to work unsupervised when necessary
  • Flexibility to work any day, including weekends and school holidays
