Our end to end facilities management and project management services ensure that your infrastructure is put in place smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters to join our QLD Talent Pool conducting Maintenance activities across our Remote Village Accommodations. These positions will be FIFO from Brisbane Airport. Applicants available now are encouraged to apply. Work away will be either 14 or 7 days, with a minimum of 7 days RNR after each swing.
THE POSITION
- Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works
- Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes
- Reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
- Prioritize and attend to urgent requests
- Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice.
- Report to Delta FM Operational Support
THE PERSON
- Australian Recognized Carpentry Trade Certificate III or equivalent
- Full C Class Manual Drivers License & White Card
- Provide a National Police Check (within 12 months)
- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Advantageous: S11 & Coal Board Medical, CS, WAH, HRWL
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
