We thrive on the challenge of getting the seemingly impossible done, and doing it safely. We are seeking Trade Qualified Electricians to join our QLD Casual Pool conducting Facilities Maintenance on remote accommodation villages. These positions will be FIFO from Brisbane Airport to regional Queensland. Our Casual pool will be required for works for either 7 or 14 days at time, with a minimum of 7 days R&R. All Swings are Day Shift Only. Fly Out Days may vary site to site. Immediate starts are available.
THE POSITION
- Provide support to our established facilities maintenance teams in a remote mining village environment
- Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works, fault finding, reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
- Actively manage and meet response times, rectification times and deadlines
- Prioritize and attend to urgent requests
- Provide mobile device work orders, updates and time estimates, including risk assessments.
- Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice.
- Report to Delta FM East Coast Scheduler
THE PERSON
- Full Working Rights within Australia
- Current QLD Electrical Unrestricted License
- C Class Manual Australian Drivers License
- CPR + LVR & National Police Check within 12 months
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Able to access Brisbane Airport for FIFO ongoing works
- S11/Coal Board Medical advantageous
