About the role

  • We have Part Time opportunities at our Victoria Heights home located in Ironbark.
  • Estia Health Victoria Heights is a welcoming aged care home located in the suburb of Ironbark, Bendigo. Situated close to the RSL, shops, hospital, and public transport, our home offers convenience and accessibility for residents and staff alike. Our home features beautifully landscaped gardens and courtyards, an on-site café, library, and a hairdressing salon, creating a warm and inviting environment for both residents and staff.

You’ll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do. Here’s what a typical day involves:

  • Prepping and serving food and drink.
  • Cleaning – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
  • Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
  • Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
  • Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.

You’ll be a real team player who has:

  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
  • Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
  • Great time management and planning skills
  • Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
