The opportunity:

Seeking experienced Forklift Operators looking for the next step in their career! Based within or Kilkenny and Gilman sites, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor we have positions available on day shift. The successful candidate will have a Forklift license, prior counterbalance experience, and ability to work across two sites (when required).

What you will bring to the team

• A valid Forklift & Driver license
• Recent counterbalance experience essential
• Experience with twin tynes desirable but not essential
• Relevant experience with glass or liquid product desirable but not essential
• Ability to work autonomously and be self sufficient
• A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team

Based in Canning Vale, Western Australia, the Forklift Operator will report into the Operations Manager.

• Ensure that the highest possible standards of safety and housekeeping are maintained within the site and the Area of work for the day.
• Report all accidents, incidents, and safety issues to the Supervisor.
• Adherence to all Visy safety Policy / requirements.
• Maintain effective discipline whilst operating PME.
• Discard any loose hanging pallet wrap.
• Pallet counts are completed at the end of each month and reported to Manager.
• Ensure data for Warehouse Management systems are accurately entered / recorded.
• Report on any defective Racking and PME.
