Job Description
The Gardener is responsible for keeping the garden and surrounding areas in a presentable manner and performing general garden maintenance as required. What you’ll do
- Carry out duties in a planned way, following work schedules, organizing materials and equipment
- Mow, whipper snip and water lawn areas within the station complex
- Maintain fences, hedges, garden beds, sprinklers
- Feed animals around the homestead
- Perform routine checks on all equipment before use
- Complete any maintenance as required and report any major repair needs on machinery
- Maintain a tidy/clean workplace and quarters
Experience and skills you’ll have
- Current Drivers License
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working under pressure
- Mature and rational approach to problem-solving
- Flexibility – able to meet changing requirements
