Job Description
Enjoy making people feel welcome and providing our owners and guests with a clean and comfortable living space. We are looking for a housekeeper to join our team. Help bring vacation dreams to life by performing daily cleaning duties on an assigned slate of rooms. This job is for you if you enjoy making people feel welcome and being part of a great team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide essential housekeeping duties: Making beds, replenishing linens, changing and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, dusting, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.
- Friendly and effective communication with dispatch, Team Members, and guests to ensure the happiness of our guests and owners.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify superiors of any damage, defects, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience to ensure appropriate maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and tools
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies used in housekeeping activities
- Prepare all assigned units for guest arrival.
- Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly manner.
- Report any maintenance problems.
- Maintain cleanliness of carts and ensure supplies and equipment are in a neat and orderly appearance.
- Assist management in maintaining inventory of linen and supplies.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by housekeeping management

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Cleaning background to include homes, offices, or hotels
- Customer service or similar related experience
- Ability to perform multi-task assignments.
- Flexibility to work during different shifts.
- Ability to communicate (oral and written) with team members and guests.
- 1+ year housekeeping/self inspecting experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Key experience
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull/ up to 100 lbs
- Work a full shift (8 hours) walking/standing with or without reasonable accommodation.
