Responsibilities

Guest Rooms

• Clean and tidy guest rooms on a daily basis
• Make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum, and mop floors
• Replace used towels and replenish guest amenities
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors
• Check appliances such as TVs, air conditioning, and kettles
• Ensure correct linen, pillows, and amenities are provided
• Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly

Public Areas

• Clean reception areas, hallways, stairways, and assigned outdoor areas
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste correctly

Laundry & Stock

• Collect, sort, and handle dirty linen
• Restock housekeeping trolleys and storerooms daily
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and report restocking needs

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to work in person at the Takapuna motel
• Willingness to work full-time, part-time, or casual hours
