Reporting to the WA State Manager, Visy Logistics is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller based at our site in Canning Vale. You will enjoy a hands-on environment working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Transport and State Manager to ensure seamless inventory control. As an experienced professional, you understand the importance of stock replenishment, adjustments, & distribution activities.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain records of work performed to facilitate accurate invoicing of clients and payment of employees
- Streamline processes for receipting, stock replenishment, and outwards stock processing.
- Plan ahead to meet on-time deliveries and manage claims/stock adjustments.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts to meet customer KPIs and performance standards.
- Foster internal and external relationships to support operations and drive improvements.
- Assist with compliance and warehouse audit requirements.
- Adhere to all work health environment and safety standards, regulations and practices.
- Actively participate in identifying ways to improve the site’s environmental performance
What You Will Bring:
- Previous Transport and Logistics experience within similar Inventory Management role
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced Warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing Inventory – cycle counting / stocktakes / Goods Receipting
- Prior Accounts Payable & Receivable experience (Desired)
- WMS experience essential, SAP highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement
