Job Purpose

• Handle all types of garments with care.
• Protect garments from damage, shrinkage, and colour fading.
• Choose the correct laundering process based on garment care labels.
• Operate laundry machines, including washing machines, dryers, and dry-cleaning machines.
• Check garments before processing.
• Report any damage or items found in pockets.
• Collect and return guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing services on time.
• Follow the guest’s preferred timing.
• Check quality during washing, dry cleaning, drying, ironing, and folding.
• Keep accurate records of laundry pick-ups and deliveries.
• Record special guest instructions.
• Prepare laundry requisitions for guest supplies, stationery, chemicals, and other required materials.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and laundry carts clean, organized, and safe.
• Monitor the use of cleaning materials.
• Maintain the required stock levels.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a 5-star hotel or industrial laundry.
• International experience is preferred.
• Experience working with a culturally diverse team is preferred.
• Good knowledge of laundry chemicals and formulas.
• Good knowledge of the correct use of laundry chemicals and formulas.
• Hands-on experience operating laundry equipment.
• Experience using washing machines, dryers, and dry-cleaning machines.
