Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic loader operator to join the team at AACo team at Anthony Lagoon Station. Anthony Lagoon Station is located approximately 680km Northwest of Mount Isa, at the top of the Barkly Tablelands NT. This is a regional role, with the loader operating between 3 neighbouring stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loader operation, of a CAT 966 2020 loader to clear scrub, bury old infrastructure, maintain and develop fire breaks, fence lines and roads.
  • Carry out General Maintenance & Upkeep of machinery.
  • Communicate general property observations.
  • Follow the general guidelines when operating machinery.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • You may be required to undertake general station duties at the manager’s discretion.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience operating- Graders, Loaders, and Excavators is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Appropriate licenses to operate the machinery, (NT requirement minimum open car, ticket preferred, not essential.)
  • Good communicator and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
