About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Laverton Glass Recycling Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating Afternoon / Night roster:

• 2 weeks Afternoon Shift: Monday – Friday 3pm – 11pm
• 2 weeks Night Shift: Monday – Friday 11pm – 7am
• Daily overtime applies after first 8 hours, Weekday and Saturday overtime available at penalty rates

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile machinery.
• Working with the production team to resolve issues with minimal downtime.
• Work with hydraulic systems, motor controls, fixed plant and mobile machinery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
• Record maintenance tasks in asset management system (IFS).
