Job Description

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand scaling from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Parcel Driver to join our Blenheim team. You will need fantastic knowledge of the region, have a full Class 1 license and be available to work 7.00am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The opportunity

• We are looking for a superstar who loves working in a diverse and fast paced environment with exceptional potential for growth to join our parcel delivery team.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Load and unload freight safely by hand, or with forklift when required
• Ensure freight is handled without damage
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy – inside and out

Your Skills

• We are looking for a team player with driving experience to join our team. You will be an effective communicator with a customer focused attitude. You will demonstrate competence in your ability to operate your vehicle in a safe manner while ensuring all freight is delivered in a timely fashion.
• Additionally, you will have:
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Full NZ Class 1 driver’s License
• DG license & OSH Forklift certifications (preferred but not essential)
• Ensuring we do our part to preserve Aotearoa’s environment
