About the role

We have Casual opportunities for Personal Care Attendants to join our home located in Kangaroo Flat.

Estia Health Kangaroo Flat is a modern, 144-bed aged care home situated in a peaceful street near the heart of town, within walking distance of public transport and a short drive to local shops, clubs, and the hospital. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to cater to a variety of care needs, featuring five distinct ‘small home’ areas, each with its own shared lounge and dining spaces, as well as a dedicated Memory Support Unit for residents requiring additional support.

Every individual in our homes has a story. You’ll get to know each one as you:

• Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed.
• Work with our team to support those with challenging needs.
• Help keep our residents’ bodies and minds active.
• Keep tabs on our residents’ health – helping with treatments and providing medication under a registered nurse.
• Be a friend to our residents.
• Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.
• You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with:

• A certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
