As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a key role in providing safe, high-quality care to prisoners, promoting health and rehabilitation, and contributing to public safety. Working collaboratively with a diverse team, your role will include clinical assessments, care planning, and support for patients managing their health needs.
As a Registered Nurse at ASCF, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Conducting assessments for new prisoners, identifying and addressing physical and mental health needs.
- Managing care plans in partnership with patients, incorporating cultural, spiritual, and social needs.
- Providing health education and emergency care as required.
- Liaising with internal and external health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to ethical, professional, and legislative standards.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Registration as a Nurse with a current practizing certificate.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary health or acute care settings.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
