As a science teacher at SABIS Network in Oman, selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Science subjects to students in accordance with the SABIS curriculum. Key Responsibilities of Science Teacher:

• Teaching a class using provided lesson plans or developing plans based on provided pacing charts.
• Marking exams related to the taught subject.
• Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD).
• Implementing the SABIS® Point System for conducive learning environment.
• Proctoring exams as needed.
• Providing support for academically low-performing students.
• Developing and/or following up on external exams preparation.
• Aiding in duties such as testing students, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students, controlling traffic, and other administrative duties.
• Preparing and participating in activity plans related to student life events.
• Attending training sessions to enhance understanding of the SABIS® system.
• Performing other related tasks or projects as delegated by school management.

Ideal Requirements for Teacher:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• English Proficiency.
• 1+ years of teaching experience.

• Accountability and taking ownership.
• Excellent communication skills.
