Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections; clean and perform mandatory maintenance to equipment including basic troubleshooting.
• Hauling fertilizer and crop inputs to local farms and between Agri Branch locations.
• Ensure completion of paperwork.
• Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner.
• Transfer dry bulk products from trailers into bulk spreading vehicles.
• Work safely to avoid harm to yourself, customer’s property, co-workers, equipment, or inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority.
• Valid driver’s license of Class 3A or higher (Class 1) and clean driver abstract .
• Experience operating manual transmission.
• Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Previous experience applying fertilizer, crop protectants, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural environment would be an asset.
• Able to work well independently and follow safety, quality control, and operating procedures at all times.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Able to speak, read, and write the English language proficiently.

• Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 7 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants, and technical expertise.
