Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections; clean and perform mandatory maintenance to equipment including basic troubleshooting.
- Hauling fertilizer and crop inputs to local farms and between Agri Branch locations.
- Ensure completion of paperwork.
- Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner.
- Transfer dry bulk products from trailers into bulk spreading vehicles.
- Work safely to avoid harm to yourself, customer’s property, co-workers, equipment, or inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority.
- Valid driver’s license of Class 3A or higher (Class 1) and clean driver abstract .
- Experience operating manual transmission.
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Previous experience applying fertilizer, crop protectants, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural environment would be an asset.
- Able to work well independently and follow safety, quality control, and operating procedures at all times.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Able to speak, read, and write the English language proficiently.
