Job Description

MSS Security is hiring Full-Time Security Officers for Defence operations in Australia. The role involves protecting Defence personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure through access control, regular patrols, alarm and incident response, and accurate reporting. About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure Defence environment. You will work professionally with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while following site security procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage access control and monitor site entry.
• Conduct regular foot patrols.
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow Defence security procedures and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Complete incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation accurately.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Australian Citizenship is required for Defence security clearance eligibility.
• ACT or NSW Security License.
• Full Open Driver’s License.
• NV1 or Positive Vetting Clearance Required, or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High integrity and accountability.
