Position Summary

Kitchen Support Experts play an important role in several hotel functions.

These associates may work across different departments. These include the kitchen, food and beverage, and employee dining room.

They support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs. Their duties may include:

• Preparing fresh, clean linen.
• Preparing spotless dining ware for guests.
• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools.
• Using dishwashing machines.
• Using hand wash stations.
• Transporting dishware across the hotel.
• Completing other tasks needed to get the job done.

Employees must follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.

They must report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.

They must complete safety training and certifications.

Employees must keep their uniform and personal appearance clean and professional. They must also maintain the confidentiality of company information and protect company assets.

Employees must welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.

They must speak with others using clear and professional language.

And they must build and maintain positive working relationships with others. They must also support the team in reaching common goals.

Employees must follow all quality expectations and standards.

The role may require standing, sitting, or walking for long periods.

The work may also require reaching overhead and below the knees. This includes bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Employees may need to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Employees must also perform other reasonable job duties requested by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None.
