Job Description
Join the Boston Shaker Underground Gold Mine Project team as an EXPERIENCED Store person who will be responsible in managing the inventory and supply chain operations which includes and not limited to. Macmahon is a leading Australian contract mining company with projects throughout Australia and Southeast Asia. Delivering a comprehensive range of surface and underground mining, civil design and construction, performance enhancement, and mine site maintenance and rehabilitation services to the resources sector.

8:6 All DAYS roster
7% market uplift bonus – paid quarterly
Project Location: Boston Shaker Gold Mine is located 200km east of Sunrise Dam and 330km east-northeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Roles and Responsibilities not limited to
- Maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels
- Loading and unloading of parts and consumables for inbound and outbound freight
- Issuing, returning and data entering of stock within the Inventory Management System
- Undertaking regular stock takes and stock level adjustments
- Ensuring storage and care of all inventory in a safe and efficient manner
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and documenting stock transfers, returns etc
About you
- Underground stores experience desirable (particularly experience with mining operations consumables such as split sets, mesh etc.)
- Previous stores/ inventory management experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
- Australian Drivers license
- Current forklift ticket
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to interpret maintenance parts as well as knowledge of other mine site consumables will be well regarded
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Australian Manual Drivers License is mandatory.
