Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with expertise in pavement works to join our Sydney team!

In this role, you’ll supervise day-to-day pavement construction activities, manage site teams and ensure the high-quality delivery of project work. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring everything stays on track, within budget and meets project specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating pavement construction activities, including site preparation, laying, and finishing of pavement works.
• Leading and managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure effective use of resources, productivity and quality.
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality and environmental standards on-site.
• Tracking project progress, reporting on milestones and proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays.
• Working alongside Project Engineers and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets and material usage.
• Fostering a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement across all site operations.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Extensive experience in pavement construction supervision, particularly within civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate site teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of pavement construction methods, materials and industry standards.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A valid Construction Induction (White Card) and a current driver’s license.
