Are you excited about the storage and distribution of bulk liquids? Stolt Tank Containers operates tank containers and terminals in key markets. We are currently recruiting a Tank Cleaner to join our Operations team.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) provides door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. STC has more than 45,000 tank containers. It also has a worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots. The company focuses on digitalization, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a sustainable future.

You will join a professional and international team with strong industry knowledge. You will work closely with customers and vendors. Your work will help provide excellent customer service and safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Clean the required number of tanks each day during normal working hours, as long as dirty tanks are available.

• Collect chemical waste in drums for disposal.
• Collect the first rinse water from toxic or strong-smelling chemicals in drums for disposal.
• Use the correct cleaning methods and follow all safety precautions. Meet STC, customer, and OHSE requirements.
• Carry out periodic tests during normal working hours. Complete the required pressure valve overhaul when tanks are available.
• Fit all seals, gaskets, tank accessories, and parts correctly. Follow all safety precautions and STC, customer, and OHSE requirements.
• Check tank features such as thermometer gauges, pressure valves, rupture discs, and remote control lines. Make sure they work correctly when fitted to tank containers.
• Prepare tanks correctly before use.
• Make sure all available tanks are leak-free and have undamaged steam coils.
• Record all parts changed on tanks. Record all parts taken from the inventory.
• During cleaning or leakage tests, remove hazardous labels. Keep the tank exterior stain-free and make sure it meets STC, customer, and road law requirements.
• Carry out tank repairs safely. These may include cladding patches, walkway straightening, and frame repairs. Report completed work to the Operations Coordinator.
• Assist Supervisors with other jobs that support depot work.

Requirement

• Experience in tank cleaning and tank repair.
