About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Clayton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 7am – 3.30pm, with monthly RDOs. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
  • Work with our skilled production team to resolve issues with minimal downtime.
  • Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, working to tight tolerances and precision.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

What You’ll Bring

  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
  • Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.
  • Precision fitting experience and knowledge, working to microns.
