Trade Recruitment Specialist is seeking for workshop manager to join their team in Regional QLD Rockhampton & Capricorn Coast, Australia. The ideal candidate must have ability to coordinate with workshop teams, vehicles repairs and insurance staff to ensure timely and satisfactory repair of damaged vehicles. This is fresh level full time position. For this position salary range from $130,000- $150,000 per year.
Qualifications for Workshop Manager:
- Candidate must have previous mechanical experience in maintaining and repairing heavy commercial fleet vehicles.
- It must have medium-rigid license required; heavy-rigid license preferred.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and facilitate work teams in achieving results.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to implement solutions decisively.
- High-level oral and written communication skills.
- Trade qualification, Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
Responsibilities for Workshop Manager:
- Candidate must have ability to lead the depot’s workshop team(s), showcasing excellence in staff supervision and commitment to the company’s corporate values.
- It must have ability to manage and maintain the fleet’s repair and maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with workshop teams, vehicle repairers, and insurance staff to ensure timely and satisfactory repair of damaged vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all QT/RTA vehicle inspections and schedules, and that all repairs meet company and QT/RTA standards.
- Develop, maintain, and proactively build business relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Address daily operational and HR issues, escalating complex or sensitive matters to your manager.
