How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for inspecting and servicing new vehicles entering fleet when they are delivered and makes minor repairs or adjustments to ensure the exceptional condition of the vehicles. You will shuttle vehicles through-out HCM property

As a PDI Automotive Technician/Support, you will:

  • Assist mechanic with vehicle maintenance, seasonal tire changes, scheduled maintenance
  • Schedule and complete PDI activity on vehicles entering fleet
  • Ensure all PDI’s are captured/communicated to the mechanic
  • 1005 completion of all required maintenance
  • Shuttling vehicles throughout HCM property
  • Support admin/parts ordering if required
  • Records discrepancies and signs or otherwise acknowledges an acceptance slip for each vehicle delivered.
  • Performs repairs and replaces defective items with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Detail/clean vehicles as required
  • Keeps the shop area neat and clean.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Test driving all vehicles as required for HCM pool vehicles and PDI vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned.

About you:

  • 6 months experience in an automotive repair environment
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission an asset
  • For the above rate they need to have PDI experience
  • Must have FULL G License
  • Must be experienced in detailing vehicles
