GMG is hiring a Teaching Assistant Job in Dubai for Emirates British Nursery (EBN) in Dubai. This role is ideal for caring and dedicated individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and child development. The Teaching Assistant will support classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive care and supervision to ensure children’s safety and well-being
Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development
Assist teachers in preparing and delivering activities tailored to individual children’s needs
Support daily routines including toileting, mealtimes, and hygiene
Supervise meals and assist with preparing babies’ bottles when required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of playrooms, learning materials, and equipment
Participate in nursery events, open weekends, publicity activities, and children’s outings
Carry out laundry duties as required
Attend staff meetings as scheduled by the Nursery
Welcome and support new staff members and act as a positive role model
Follow all Emirates British Nursery policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum High School Certificate or Certified Vocational Qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level II)
Previous experience in a nursery, early years setting, or working with children is preferred
Experience gained in the home country may be considered
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Knowledge of the EYFS framework is an advantage
