As a distribution driver, selected candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities of Distribution Driver:
- Deliver goods to customers in Dubai and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Drive distribution vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
- Handle variable weight loads ensuring secure transport and delivery.
- Check the load destined for your daily route using the provided conference map.
- Deliver and place merchandise at the locations specified by the customer.
- Charge the product according to agreed conditions and report to the Distribution Manager at the end of the day.
- Ensure cleaning and preventive maintenance of the vehicle to maintain its optimal condition.
- Contribute to providing quality service to customers by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements for Distribution Driver:
- Physical robustness to handle manual tasks and lifting.
- Strong communication and empathy skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and proactivity.
- Immediate availability to start work.
- Valid Driving License (Required).
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
