Key Responsibilities of Domestic Assistant:
- Provide high-quality cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
- Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Help with meal preparation and kitchen clean-up.
- Perform other household tasks as required, such as changing bed linen and organizing closets.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Report any concerns or changes in clients’ health or well-being to the supervisor.
Requirements for Domestic Assistant:
- Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping, preferably in an aged care or community setting.
- Compassionate and caring attitude.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
Working Conditions:
- This position involves traveling to clients’ homes, so a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
- Must be willing to undergo a police check and provide a valid Working with Children Check (if required).
