Herd Test Technicians Required in LIC, New Zealand

About the Role

Our Herd Test Technicians use LIC vehicles to install Herd Testing equipment in dairy sheds throughout the region. They then return the following day to collect the completed samples and equipment. This is a fast-paced role which requires excellent time management skills and physical strength as handling heavy equipment is a must. We are offering a fixed-term and a casual job position commencing now, covering the Palmerston North region until the end of the season in May 2025.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A ‘can-do’ attitude and are tech savvy
• Good communication skills
• Motivated and professional
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail
• High level of fitness and physical strength (heavy lifting is required daily)
• A current full class 1 driver’s license is essential
• For our seasonal (fixed term) positions, the role will be 6 days per week, Sunday to Friday, with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week.

Our casual positions will be managed on an offer-acceptance basis.
