Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist the maintenance team in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, providing technical expertise for scheduled and breakdown maintenance. You will:

• Apply technical knowledge to maintain and repair specialised food processing equipment, ensuring safe, operational conditions.
• Identify preventative maintenance needs, minimise downtime, and ensure maintenance activities are logged in the MEX system.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to align maintenance with operational priorities while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols and demonstrate a commitment to safety for yourself and others.
• This exciting opportunity is full-time, operating Monday to Friday.

About you

• You hold a certificate III in Electrotechnology or relevant trade qualification, with practical experience in plant and equipment maintenance, planning, and servicing.
• Proven ability to undergo training with Marel or other specialised food processing equipment and apply acquired skills effectively.
• Experience with MEX or similar maintenance management systems.
• Strong willingness to learn and continuously improve by applying new skills in day-to-day operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
